A necessity in my pallette as it is a primary color. Spent some time with my mom today. She is in constant pain and has a real hard time walking. Got her some groceries and found Youtube on her iPad as her sattelite dish is out of whack. She was thrilled and exclaimed that she didn't know it could do that!

I started painting one 4"X4" miniature daily on May 1st 2015. After a near fatal drowning experience in 2013, I realized just how precious life is and I wondered why I was waiting to do what I loved most. I just wasn't finding the time.

It took a while to commit to it, but a year later, I decided I just had to make the time and I enrolled in some fine art acrylic painting classes. Under my teacher, Sharon Moore-Foster, I gained confidence and found my soul's voice through my paintings.

Now I am fully committed to expressing myself through my fine art by creating one miniature painting to mark each passing day – to leave my mark in this world.

These little miniature gems are for sale through this website where I started an online store.

I also do larger works and commissions. Just email me or follow my page on Facebook and message me.

This is a painting of a yellow rose from the anniversary bouquet my hubby bought me. No the flower didn't last this long, but I took pics to use for reference. These colors are new for me. I usually paint alot of purple and reds but I am using up my old paint which is opening up my color pallette.

Peonie - another beautiful sunny day! Last night I got inspired. I was looking at my FB profile pic which is taken from my large peonies painting. I wondered if I could paint it in miniature. Changing scale is always a challenge but this was especially difficult as I couldn't use the same energy and sweeping arm gestures I used to create the original, but it turned out pretty good!
